Children have the whole estate; parents have the day to themselves.
The enclosure is the real amenity here
The whole estate, all 4,000 square metres, is enclosed. The gates close, there is no road and nowhere for a ball to end up on a carriageway. Only then does a holiday truly begin — and for parents too.
Playground
About 10 metres from the terrace, in the shade of mature olive trees, and visible from every communal room. A playhouse with slide, a hanging bridge, a helm, a telescope, a small shop and a two-seat swing, all on a soft rubber surface, for children up to 7 years.
The child is outside; you can see them with a coffee in your hand through the glass wall. In the evening, when the children fall asleep, the terrace and the tub are yours.
Babies and young children
The house has its own equipment for the youngest guests — the sort you would choose for your own child.
There is no charge for the equipment. Tell us the children’s ages at booking and everything will be set up before arrival. Please bring your own car seat and pushchair.
- Stokke Sleepi Mini and Stokke Sleepi Bed cots, so two children of different ages can sleep at the same time; additionally a BabyBjörn travel cot for a third room. Organic bedding and a waterproof protector.
- Two Stokke Tripp Trapp highchairs with baby sets.
- Stokke Flexi Bath, bamboo towels, BabyBjörn Bouncer Bliss, dimmable night-lights, white-noise devices, bath and room thermometers.
- Nanit Pro monitor in the children’s room: the child sleeps, you are by the pool and can still see everything.
Dogs and cats
Dogs are welcome and do not have to be on a lead within the enclosed grounds. There is lawn, shade and space to run, and no other animals, because the villa is private and there are no neighbours beyond the hedge. In the evening the dog lies at your feet on the terrace and that is that.
The Parenzana is flat and gravel — good for walking a dog — with shade until 11 am and again after 5 pm. Beaches in season mostly do not admit dogs; out of season it is easier, and there are beaches where dogs are welcome about 15 minutes from here.
